This week the market update was sideways. Prices have dropped, the higher the rates, the lower the housing prices go. If you are in the market, now is the time to buy. If you wait to buy it could cost you an additional $35,000.00.
If you were pre-approved over a month ago, ask about updated rates and ensure that your payment has not changed. In a rising interest rate environment, it is critical that you keep tabs with the market (a good realtor will help with this, they are not trying to be pushy to make a sale, they are watching out for your best interest).
